The Littlemoor roundabouts are now clearly visible.
Last week the base layers around Bincombe Bumps Roundabout were laid, and this week Jurassic Roundabout is having the base layers laid around it.
These are the last sections of base layer to be laid on the main carriageway.

I drove alone the Weymouth to Dorchester road on Thursday, and was horrified to see must how deep the bit between the road and the hedge is in some places, will this be filled in as anyone driving off the road would damage the car.

Hi Gail,
I think the section of road you are describing is part of the temporary diversion road.
It has ditches either side for drainage reasons, as the road is only temporary there is not permanent drainage within the road structure itself.
The relief road doesn’t have ditches along side it as there is sufficient drainage designed into the road construction.
