Archaeological finds from the relief road will be going on display at Weymouth Pavilion’s Ocean Room this month:

  • Sunday 21 March, 10am-5pm
  • Monday 22 March, 9am-8pm
  • Tuesday 23 March, 9am-8pm

Finds on display will include ancient bones, Iron Age pottery, shale jewellery and many other artefacts from the site.

Archaeology enthusiasts may also like to attend a ticketed Day School on Saturday 20 March.

    We are all very curious to know what lay beneath , so to speak.

    Brilliant idea, if not a wee bit ghoulish. Invaders or relatives? Which, or a plague grave perhaps?
