Archaeology exhibition (large version)

We’ve had an amazing response to the archaeological exhibition at the Weymouth Pavilion Ocean Room – with over 1,500 people through the doors already!

Today the exhibition is open until 5pm. Monday and Tuesday the exhibition is open from 9am until 8pm.

If you can’t get along to the Ocean Room the exhibition handout is available online, and we’ll put some more bits on during the next two days.

Well done, really enjoyed what was on show.

As interesting as the archaeology was. I was hoping to see more on the civil engineering side of the project, which also interests me.

Also, as I live along the route, I was hoping to see an updated timetable of the works over the coming 10 months or so. There was a vague timetable on the Skanska handout, but nothing specific.

For instance when will the Littlemoor roundabouts be going in? When will the new section of Littlemoor road from just past the supermarket down to Preston work start?

Really enjoyed the exhibition today – it was fascinating to see what you’ve found over the past few months! Many thanks.
