Full steam ahead

by

Laying hot tarmac on cold winter days has its own challenges – but through the steam you can see that we’re now surfacing and rolling the section of road just north of the new Manor Rail bridge as the road passes through Two Mile Coppice.   The first two layers of tarmac have been laid for most of the south section, and the low noise surface that forms the top layer  will be laid shortly.  The photograph below is the view looking north up the road from the new Veasta roundabout, near Manor Railway bridge.
